Itumeleng Khune is back in Kaizer Chiefs’ starting line-up for tonight’s Absa Premiership encounter against Free State Stars at the FNB Stadium.
Khune didn’t start the last four league matches due to an injury sustained during the 1-1 drawn clash against Cape Town City back in November 2016.
Edmore Chirambadare has also been handed a start by coach Steve Komphela. He replaces Emmanuel Letlotlo, who was preferred for the last game before the festive and Africa Cup of Nations break. That was the 2-0 win over Golden Arrows on 21 December 2016.
The newly signed Venezuelan striker Gustavo Páez starts on the bench.
Chiefs face Stars tonight at FNB Stadium (kick-off is at 19:30).
The encounter will be refereed by Kulasande Qongqo.
