Bloemfontein Celtic vs. Kaizer Chiefs

We would have preferred to play the game on Sunday as scheduled but then Mother Nature had other ideas. This would have allowed us to focus on the upcoming game against Maritzburg United this coming Saturday.

The game was an entertaining one and I am quite sure that both set of fans enjoyed the kind off football dished out on the evening. I am proud of the players for the character they showed after going 2 goals down. We showed tremendous strength to come back and equalize when everything looked to be working against us. The league is still open and I believe no team can claim to be comfortable at the top this time around.

There were lot of positives in the game and I was delighted for Steven Ncanana for scoring his first goal for the Club. He has been working very hard at training and also deserved to get his first start. I am still positive and the performance last night gave us a reason to believe that there is still a long way in the Championship.

Preview: Kaizer Chiefs vs. Maritzburg United

People are already saying that Maritzburg United is struggling but we all know that when teams play against Kaizer Chiefs they play is if their life depends on the game. We are not expecting any easy games at this time of the season.

I am delighted that we will be welcoming some of the players that missed the game against Celtic for this game. Once again I would like to call our fans to come through to the stadium to lift the boys. The support from the fans remain crucial and lets come in numbers as it always inspires the boys to give even better when they know you all behind them.

Siphiwe Tshabalala & Nkosinathi Nhleko Siphiwe Tshabalala returned from UK on Tuesday after being assessed by Nottingham Forest. He did not make the team to Bloemfontein and we hope that he is in right frame of mind for our up coming games. Nkosinathi Nhleko returned from Turkey where he had trials and is working hard at training.

See you all at FNB Stadium, kick off is at 20h15.
