On his arrival at Kaizer Chiefs Village, Naturena, Bernard Parker said; "Joining Kaizer Chiefs is a realisation of a childhood dream. I am happy to happy to be here and I am going to give 100 per cent every time I get to don the gold and black jersey."
Chiefs had long wanted Bernard Parker, who made a name for himself in the football world when he banged in a brace during the Fifa Confederations Cup held in South Africa in 2009. The Reiger Park-born striker joins the Glamour Boys with a reputation of scoring goals and it is that reputation that took him to Red Star Belgrade in Serbia in 2009 and FC Twente the same year until June 2011.
Parker also remains a key player in the Bafana Bafana squad. He is expected to spearhead Kaizer Chiefs' attack, that already boasts Kaizer Motaung JR, Sthembiso Ngcobo and Lehlohonolo Majoro.
