Kaizer Chiefs Reserves go into the penultimate match of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) on Sunday, 12 February, at the back of a 1-0 win over the outgoing champions Golden Arrows Reserves played last Sunday. Ryan Moon scored the solitary goal which gives Amakhosi an outside chance of winning this year’s edition of Asidlali.

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS RESERVES vs KAIZER CHIEFS RESERVES

SUNDAY, 12 FEBRUARY 2017

KICK-OFF IS AT 13:00

This fixture has all the hallmarks to be the talk of the town. For Chiefs Reserves, a win over Sundowns Reserves will give us a chance to clinch the league at the last hurdle, while for the Brazilians, a loss will dent their chances of winning the league after leading for most of the campaign.

Chiefs are fourth on the log with 25 points and Sundowns are on the second spot with 29 points after 13 matches. Bloemfontein Celtic are leading the pack with two games to go with 30 points. It remains to be seen if coach Arthur Zwane’s lads will carry on where they left off in their last match against Arrows.

Preceding the MDC fixture between Chiefs and Downs will be a match between Polokwane City and Maritzburg United at 11:00.

Free tickets can be collected at King Zwelithini Stadium on Thursday and Friday from 13:00 while stock lasts. Two tickets per person will be allocated. The match will be televised live on SS4.
