Itumeleng Khune, Erick ‘Tower’ Mathoho and Ramahlwe Mphahlele all start in this afternoon’s friendly of Bafana Bafana against Guinea-Bissau.

Stand-in coach Owen de Gama made the announcement earlier today.

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Khune will captain the side. Mphahlele will be at right-back, while ‘Tower’ will partner Bidvest Wits’ Thulani Hlatswayo in the centre of defence.

Amakhosi’s other centre-back, Lorenzo Gordinho, will start the game on the bench. It’s the young Glamour Boy’s first Bafana Bafana call-up

The friendly match between South Africa and Guinea-Bissau will be played at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium (kick-off at 15:00).
