The computer lab at the school had old and broken down computers, but it got a facelift with brand new computers being installed that will assist the learners in their studies and to become computer savvy.
In addition to the computers, a printer and a projector were installed to give the learners a full experience.
The donation came at a time when the country was still celebrating Youth Month. The gesture is in line with Chiefs’ values of empowering women and children to be able make a difference in their communities.
“We are always looking at ways to make a difference in the lives of people, especially children,” says Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung. “We hope that the computer lab will be put into good use and assist the learners in their studies.
“We live in a technological era and it’s important to get the children equipped as early as possible as most children often do not get this opportunity until a later age, which means that they have to play catch-up. Too whom much is given, much is required. We will be expecting good results from the learners.”
