Kaizer Chiefs will need to overcome a deficit in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round, after going down 1-0 to Red Arrows at a scorching hot Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia on Saturday afternoon.

A late goal from Red Arrows skipper, Alassane Diarra, in the 77^th minute proved to be the difference on the day and earns the Zambian side a slight advantage halfway through the tie.

The two teams meet again in the decisive second leg at 18:00 this coming Friday evening, where Amakhosi will hold the home advantage at Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban, to determine who will progress to the group stage of this year’s competition.
