The squad is comprised mainly of locally-based players with only three from overseas clubs.
Former national under-23 goalkeeper Emile Baron received his first national call up when he was included in the 23-man squad.
Holland-based midfielder Steven Pienaar, who was man of the match over the weekend when Ajax Amsterdam hammered De Graafschap 4-0 in a Dutch league match, also got his first senior national call. Speedy midfielder McDonald Mukansi, who is based in Bulgaria, also got the nod.
