Kaizer Chiefs are back home at FNB Stadium this evening for one of the the biggest matches on the DStv Premiership calendar, against Mamelodi Sundowns.

This is the second DStv Premiership meeting of the season between the sides, with the first taking place back in August, in Pretoria.

Sundowns come in to this evening’s match with their tails up after a string of good results in their recent matches, while Chiefs are reeling after losing their last two matches in the league.

Amakhosi will want to use this tough match to put smiles back on the faces of their fans by collecting the three points.

Chiefs are in 5th position on the log, with 24 points in 16 matches. The visitors lead the league with 43 points after 17 encounters.

Even though players such as Khama Billiat, Phathutshedzo Nange, Cole Alexander and Mulomowandau Mathoho are still out injured, coach Arthur Zwane will be slightly happy to have defender S’fiso Hlanti back from suspension and attacker Keagan Dolly who missed the last game through a slight injury.

With the two players available for selection, coach Zwane has opted to start with them as Hlanti replaces Happy Mashiane at left-back while young Mduduzi Shabalala makes way for Dolly in attack.

The team will keep the same 4-5-1 formation they employed last time out against Usuthu this evening.

Goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune retains his position.

At the back Chiefs will have Hlanti on the left. The pairing of Edmilson Dove and Zitha Kwinika will continue in central defence, and Reeve Frosler runs at right-back.

The young Samkelo Zwane will once again anchor the midfield alongside Yusuf Maart.

Nkosingiphile Ngcobo is in front of the two holding midfielders. He will have Ashley Du Preez cutting in from the left and Dolly doing the same on the right.

Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana is the main man when it comes to Amakhosi’s attack.

Khune is the captain.

The referee is Skhumbuzo Gasa. Assistant referees are Kgara Mokoena and Athenkosi Ndongeni. The match’s fourth official is Moreki Lekwape.

The gigantic clash between Glamour Boys and the Brazilians starts 20:00 at FNB Stadium in Nasrec. The match will be live on SuperSport’s PSL Channel 202 on DStv, SABC 1 and various SABC radio stations, with regular updates of the match on Twitter @KaizerChiefs.
