With the festive season upon us, the Kaizer Chiefs Legends have been involved in a number of community related projects across the country to put a smile on millions of their supporters.

30 November 2003 - Witbank

The legends were involved in a fundraising extravaganza on behalf of NAPWA (the National Association of People living with HIV/AIDS) in Witbank. The games were a part of a music and soccer extravaganza.

The soccer games assumed a charity spectacular format. The first game was between Chiefs and Napwa 11 with Chiefs winning 6-0. The second was between Pirates and Witbank Black Aces and Aces won 2-0.

The final between Chiefs and Aces was drawn 1-all. Aces won the final 4-3 on penalties. This was their second game of the day and they played against a relatively youthful side.

5 December 2003 - Lesotho

The Lesotho game is scheduled to kick-off at around 20H00. A curtain raiser would involve two teams from Lesotho. The masters would be expected to hand over presents to needy kids in hospitals or childcare homes in Lesotho.

16 December 2003 - Kimberly

The game in Kimberly is scheduled to play in the afternoon of the 16 December. Details of the activities for the legends on the day are being finalised and will be communicated to you soon as they are available.

The main scope for this is to create HIV/AIDS awareness through soccer. KC endorses any initiative of giving back to the community. We commend the organisers who came up with this initiative.

The Legends have already left for Lesotho. They will do social responsibility in Maseru and will play at the Setsoto Stadium. Kick-off is at 20:00. They return tomorrow morning as they have another game scheduled for Sunday in Pretoria against Sundowns Masters.
