When Kaizer Chiefs host El Ismaili of Egypt in the quarterfinals of the Confederation of African Football (Caf) Cup also known as Mandela Cup on September 8, some of the new signings could be available.

Each participating club is allowed to register 30 players and so far Amakhosi have registered 26. The coach is yet to decide which four other players should be registered for this campaign before the August 10 deadline.

El Ismaili is a closed book to Amakhosi with a good record at home.

Amakhosi kicked off their Mandela Cup campaign with a 1-1 draw away to USST of Reunion and won 3-2 on aggregate after a 2-1 second leg win.

El Ismaili also started on the same note winning 3-2 on aggregate against Mathare United of Kenya. The first leg was drawn 1-1.

The return leg of the quarterfinals of the Mandela Cup will be played in Cairo on September 22.
