Mtakwenda, Petros to be loaned out

Kaizer Chiefs are currently negotiating with a number of clubs that have shown interest in the services of defender Musa Mtakwenda and striker Luke Petros. If an agreement is reached, the players will go on loan spells until the end of the season.

Struggling Premier Soccer League side Hellenic have shown interest in Zimbabwean international Luke Petros to help them move away from the relegation zone.

Hellenic have so far managed to score only 13 goals in 21 games and are lying dangerously at the bottom of the table with 15 points, two better than Classic. The Greek Gods, who were once reported to be up for sale, hope the arrival of Petros will help turn their fortunes around.

Meanwhile, early pacesetters Moroka Swallows are interested in the services of former national under-23 defender Musa Mtakwenda. The Dube Birds are looking at buying the player outright while Amakhosi can only release the player on loan.

First division side Dynamos have also shown interest in Mtakwenda.

Negotiations are currently under way and announcements will be made once the deals are finalised.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi is still awaiting work permits for Zimbabwean under-23 stars Kelvin Mushangazhike and Tinashe Nengomasha. The two players impressed Chiefs management during the Five Nations tournament and were immediately roped in.
