Despite admitting to a substance abuse problem and voluntarily checking into a rehab centre, Kaizer Chiefs star Jabu Pule has been voted Bhari of the week for his disappearing act.

Pule, who made headlines this weeks after admitting to a drug problem that could have possibly ended his career, collected 46.72% of the 3365 voted cast for going AWOL for two weeks.

The Bafana Bafana midfielder missed the plane to Ivory Coast for the Nations Cup qualifier a couple of the weeks ago and was subsequently left out of the Cosafa Cup final squad that played Malawi last weekend.

He also missed Chiefs’ opening league match against SuperSport United on September 11th.

Meanwhile, current league champions Santos were voted Bhoza of the week for beating Sundowns 2-0 in the final of the BP Top Eight at the Royal Bafokeng on Saturday, September 14th.

Santos, or rather the People’s Team, collected 67.6% of the 1256 vote cast, while their midfielder Fees Moloi collected the second most votes, 20.46%, for his outstanding goal in the final.
