With the South African national team squad only expected to return to South Africa on Wednesday, 14 February, following their extended run at the 2023 Afcon in Ivory Coast where they finished third, the PSL has decided to postpone the upcoming midweek DStv Premiership fixtures, scheduled for 13 and 14 February. New dates for the matches will be announced by the league’s governing body in due course.
This means that Tuesday evening’s game between Amakhosi and TS Galaxy at the Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane will not be taking place as scheduled, and has been postponed.
Those loyal Amakhosi fans who have already purchased tickets for the encounter are urged to hold onto them, as they will be deemed valid for the match when it is played at a later date. Refunds will also be offered to ticket holders, and can be collected from Computicket outlets around the country.
The new date for the match will be communicated as soon as it has been confirmed.
