Molangoane was a principal destroyer with whizzing runs on the right flank. “I am glad to be able to reproduce in the game what we practised during the week,” said Molangoane. “It all starts at training. We plan for the game and play according to the coach’s instructions. We just love it when the plan comes together.”
Molangoane provided an assist for Dumsani Zuma to slot in the winner in the 65th minute. “I was in a good space,” stated Molangoane. “I played a one-two pass with Siphelele Ntshangase and crossed to find Zuma, who scored. I am glad we won the match and remain in the hunt to win the league.”
About Polokwane City, Molangoane pointed, “They came prepared and on a high from the win in their previous match. They scored a beauty from a set play but that didn’t deter us to focus on winning the match. You could see they wanted to win despite playing away. They were not conservative, they played with purpose. We had to put an extra effort to overcome them.”
This was Molangoane’s third Man of the Match Award in all competitions this season. “I am glad to contribute to the bigger picture in the team,” concluded Molangoane. “It is work in progress for me and the team. We are looking forward to the next game with the intention to improve and keep up the momentum.”
