Get KC Insurance to have peace of mind

KC Insurance will have 10 sales people at FNB Stadium ahead of this evening’s game against Mamelodi Sundowns. They will be positioned at Gate K, where Kaizer Chiefs will also have a retail outlet.

“Family is important to us and so is dignity and peace of mind,” says Amakhosi’s Marketing Director Jessica Motaung about the club’s KC Insurance and Funeral Plan products. “That’s why we have Kaizer Chiefs Insurance – from our Family to your Family.”

KC Insurance is underwritten by the insurance group Hollard, who is also one of the sponsors of the Glamour Boys and their company logo can be spotted on our jersey, on the left upper arm.

Amakhosi held a successful press conference at the company’s head office in Parktown, Johannesburg, on Thursday. Present were players and representatives from both Chiefs and tonight’s opponent, Sundowns.

There was a lively vibe at Hollard’s office with numerous employees coming out in support of Chiefs. Several of their personnel have acquired KC Insurance and Funeral Plan products.

Two of them are Underwriter Ontiretse Moyo and Strategy Consultant Nsika Mutasa.

Nsika is a long-time employee of Hollard, supporting the Glamour Boys since the age of ten. “I was a defender as a kid,” he says, “that’s why I always had an interest in the defenders, in particular Patrick Mayo. Although my all-time best Chiefs defender is Tefu Mashamaite. He was truly brilliant.”

On the question why he took out a KC Insurance policy, Nsika confidently reacts: “Because it is underwritten by Hollard. Two strong brands, Hollard and Kaizer Chiefs, have come together to provide an insurance offering for the supporters.”

Ontiretse was never much into soccer. Well, until the 2010 World Cup. “There was such a magnificent vibe around football at the time and that’s when I realised that I needed to decide on a club to support and that became Kaizer Chiefs. Siphiwe Tshabalala is my big hero, also because he scored that beautiful goal against Mexico.”

She is an Underwriter, which means that Ontiretse accepts the policies people have bought. “Normally, I don’t leave my office, but with Kaizer Chiefs in our house, I couldn’t miss out,” Ontiretse explained her presence at the press conference with a big smile.

About acquiring a KC Insurance policy, she commented: “If Chiefs is your favourite team, you obviously want to get KC Insurance policies.”

Amakhosi understand that death is part of life and to show respect for our loved ones we need to plan ahead to give them a dignified farewell. We understand how much you love and care for your Family and how you want to protect them against the financial burden of funeral expenses in the event of death.

Having a Kaizer Chiefs Funeral Plan will ensure that any financial worries will be taken care of in the event a loved one covered in the policy passes away. We pay-out within two days upon receipt of all valid claim documents, because we understand that you or your Family will need the money to be paid out as quickly as possible to cover burial expenses.

What are the benefits of the Kaizer Chiefs Funeral Plan?

  • You can cover up to 22 Family members on one policy

  • Get up to R75 000 cover and get back your premiums when claiming

  • It now includes an Educator Benefit of R35 000 per child, for up to 5 children, covered in the policy towards their tertiary education fees, when the main member passes away. This is to ensure that your children can achieve their dreams
