Four Kaizer Chiefs youngsters have been selected to the national under-23 team, Amaglug-glug as preparations for the All Africa Games get underway.

New Amaglug-glug coach Kenneth Kubheka gave the Chiefs youth development a vote of confidence with the selection of Justice Sithole, Thabiso Malatsi, Thomrick October – all products of the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Academy. Shaun Permall – in his second season with Amakhosi – also got the nod.

Chiefs will have a total of 10 players on national call following the selection of Brian Baloyi, Cyril Nzama, David Kannemeyer, Jabu Pule and Stanton Fredericks for the Cosafa Cup semifinal clash against Swaziland this weekend. Patrick Mbuthu is on standby and is likely to travel to Limpopo for the Saturday showdown.

The squad will be announced on Wednesday and leaves for a camp in Angola on August 26.
