It was a long flight but enjoyable with great hospitality from British Airways especially
as it was Chinese New Year. The Asian folks have their own way of celebrating that - you
receive gifts and not the other way.
Flying business class also has its great advantages as you have more than enough to keep you
busy. A variety of movies or music if you are not into film. There’s also plenty of
reading material and regular updates on the distance to your destination.
But the luxuries on the flight were the last thing on the Amakhosi team’s minds as they
had other business ideas to worry about.
“In keeping with our vision of making the Kaizer Chiefs brand recognisable the world
over,” says Brand Manager Emy Casaletti-Page, “the participation in the Peace
Cup, as well as various other international football exhibitions we plan to participate in,
are just few of the globalization strategies we are embarking on.
The Amakhosi delegation is in transit to Seoul for the official launch of the Peace Cup
taking place on Wednesday at 10:30 ET (03:30 SA time).
On arrival Bobstake appeared to have fun and took the Mickey out of some of the locals. This
one particular fellow looked like the guy who does a particular brandy add and mimicked
“oshioo”. Not that the locals would understand what that was all about.
