Chiefs back to business

Kaizer Chiefs returns to action next week after a short break with the coach expected back from his holiday on Saturday and the players reporting for training on Monday.

A list for the players for the new season will also be finalised next week. What has been written in the media so far is only speculation and the official list will be released to the supporters after meeting between the technical staff and management.

A couple of practices matches have been lined-up in preparation for the 2002 Vodacom Challenge, which will be as exciting as ever.

The team will go to Swaziland where they will play two friendly matches against two top local sides.

Dates and venues for the Vodacom Challenge will be announced at a media launch next Wednesday at Vodaworld in Midrand.

Then on June 22, Amakhosi will honour the players for their contribution throughout the season. Individual players will receive awards and cash prize money. The official Kaizer Chiefs Player of the Season will also be honoured at this event.
