Kaizer Chiefs Youth Academy star Buti Sithole, currently on national duty with Amajita in the African Youth Championship qualifier in PE, has won promotion to the senior team and will, according coach Muhsin Ertugral play his first game in the Charity Cup.

Like many other youngsters, Sithole’s dream of playing for Chiefs started with a long road from the Youth Academy three years ago but hard work and dedication finally paid off when the coach and his technical staff decided the young man was ready for bigger challenges.

And the coach was full of praise of Sithole. “He is a promising left wing defender and I believe the talent is there,” Ertugral says.

“Again we need patience with him. He is just 17 and he is now playing for the national under-20 team. He went through all the categories in the junior national teams. Buti has talent and I think we have to see him in a bigger picture. We have to throw him in the sea and check how he copes,” Ertugral adds.
