The trials will take place at a number of semi-professional and amateur clubs around Gauteng between the 4th and 15th of April.
During the club training session, 50 pairs of the latest Nike soccer boots will be tested by players belonging to the various clubs, as well as shin guards, goalkeeper gloves, and the Total 90 Aerow soccer ball, as used in the English Premiership.
Nike Football Trials provides an opportunity for rising stars to test products worn by some of the world’s best players including Thierry Henry, Wayne Rooney and Ronaldinho.
Each participant will rate the boots and equipment, and this feedback will be passed on to the Nike International design team to ensure that the company continues to give football players what they need in their quest to reach optimal performance.
