Jabu Pule’s first training session with the French first division side Olympique Marseille first team on Sunday turned out to be a great success as the coach later expressed his excitement of seeing the youngster in action.

This came after Pule and Kaizer Chiefs team manager, Bobby Motaung, witnessed Marseille in action against Lyon on Friday. The duo enjoyed VIP status as the mingled with the club’s elite, including the president of the team, in the side’s suite.

Pule, who has been training with the first team reserve side since his arrival in Europe, is expected back in the country on Thursday and will be going straight to Bafana Bafana’s camp to prepare for Saturday’s Cosafa Castle fixture against Swaziland.

The midfielder is expected to have more training sessions with the French side on Monday and Tuesday as the team will be off on Sunday.
