A big assignment awaits Kaizer Chiefs this coming Sunday in Zambia, where the team will face Zesco United in the group stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola. The two teams last met in the same competition in 2019 at the same venue.

Amakhosi kicked off 2026 on a positive note, securing a 1-0 win against Lamontville Golden Arrows in the Betway Premiership on Tuesday night at FNB stadium. That victory gave the Glamour Boys six points from their two league matches against Abafana Bes’thende this season.

With four games still to play in the group stages of this season’s Confederation Cup, Chiefs sit third in Group D of the continental competition with one point. Zesco, meanwhile, are bottom of the group and yet to collect any points after defeats to Al Masry and Zamalek, who occupy first and second places respectively.

Supporters attending the match can purchase tickets at 30 Kwacha for the open stand and 200 Kwacha for VIP seating, which is approximately R25 and R165 respectively.

The clash in Zambia kicks off on Sunday at 15:00 and will be broadcast live on SABC 2 in South Africa and SuperSport.
