Erick 'Tower' Mathoho scored with a well placed header in the 88th minute to put the cherry on top of his 24th birthday when the Amakhosi brushed aside Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo (Mozambique) on Saturday, 1 March 2014.

"I am happy and I take this goal as my birthday gift. We played well as a Team. We moved the ball very quick that is why we were able to score 4 goals," said Molomowandau.

"I am particularly happy because we scored via a set piece and at a critical stage of the game. As a defender I have to prevent the opposition from scoring against us and also contribute when Kaizer Chiefs is on attack," said the soft spoken Tshiombo (Venda) born defender.

The Amakhosi will travel to Maputo next weekend hoping to consolidate their 4-0 lead when they visit Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo in Mozambique in the 2nd Leg of the 1st Round of the CAF Champions League.
