Brain Amidu Abbas has warned Burundi that they will find things difficult during the Africa qualifier return leg in Harare after losing 2-1 against a Valery Nahayo inspired Burundi National Team in Bujumbura on Wednesday evening.

The 21-year-old Abbas who signed a three and half year deal with the Glamour Boys in January 2012, made his debut for Zimbabwe having represented his country at junior level.

“It was a proud moment for me to get an opportunity to represent my country at the highest level. I have dreamt about this since I was young growing up in Zimbabwe,” he told kaizerchiefs.com on his arrival at Naturena on Friday afternoon.

“We were not happy though that we lost the game. The pitch was not good at all but both teams played well. We will have to turn the tables when they come to our backyard for the return leg. We have a good team."

Abbas, who is yet to make his official debut for the Glamour Boys, said he was working hard and is waiting for his chance in the team; “I have been working hard in training and I have received a lot of encouragement from my teammates and the Technical Team.

I have featured in a couple of games with the reserves and hopeful my chance will come soon, when that happens I will grab it with both hands!" added Abbas.
