Kaizer Chiefs have secured the services of exciting young winger, Faiz Abrahams from Stellenbosch FC.
The 21-year-old, who joins the Club on a season-long loan with an option to make it permanent at the end of the campaign, expressed his delight at securing the move, telling www.kaizerchiefs.com, “I am very happy to join Kaizer Chiefs. It is an honour to be here at one of the biggest clubs in Africa. They have won a lot of trophies and what attracted me most is that they have a history of giving opportunities to young players.”
Hailing from Bishop Lavis on the Cape Flats, Abrahams began his football journey in the Ajax Cape Town (now Cape Town Spurs) youth ranks before joining Stellies, where he starred for their U23 side in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) and earned his senior debut – against Amakhosi – towards the end of the 2024/25 season. The fleet-footed wide man spent part of last season on loan at Israeli club, Hapoel Kfar Saba, where he contributed three goals and three assists in 11 appearances, before returning to Stellenbosch.
Chiefs have acquired one of the hottest young prospects in the country and we wish him every success in his career as a Glamour Boy.
