On Saturday 27 July, the Carling Black Label Cup match featuring arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will take centre stage. Tickets were sold out a little earlier than the previous edition of the competition. The match is scheduled to take place at the mecca of South African football, FNB Stadium.

Kick-off is at 15:00 and gates will be open at 11:00. Revellers are urged to arrive early and they will be served with entertainment building up to the kick-off time.

Various measures have been put in place to ensure smooth access into the venue for fans to watch the most anticipated teaser to the upcoming 2019/20 football season.

The use of the arranged public transportation for the event is highly recommended. It will ease congestion around the stadium and ensure that those attending the match arrive on time.

The following public transport arrangements have been put in place for the event:

Rea Vaya

Rea Vaya will be operating a service to transport fans to the OPFC vs KCFC Match from its stations along the Rea Vaya phase 1A and phase 1B route to the FNB Stadium. Fans will be dropped off and picked up at the Soccer City Rea Vaya Station after the match. Ticket prices are R30 for a single trip and R40 for a return ticket.

The N17 approach will be open for general public use. This route will be heavily policed.

There will be either road closures or accreditation checkpoints at the key intersections leading to the stadium.

Arrive alive at the stadium and back home. Do not drink and drive. Observe all road traffic rules. Parking is provided for free. Do not approach the stadium precinct if you are not in possession of a match entry ticket.
