“World AIDS Day means a lot to me,” Kaizer Chiefs defender Morgan Gould reflects about today’s World AIDS Day. “Because it’s a day to remember that a deadly disease is rife in our country.”
“It’s a day to stand still and be aware of the damage HIV/Aids can do to people who are having unsafe sex,” adds Gould. “It’s an epidemic. I would like to warn my fellow countryman, my brothers and my sisters… Please, remember that Aids is a killer. If you want to have intercourse with somebody you don’t know well, please use a condom. Be smart, play it safe, before it’s too late and the disease catches up with you. Prevention is better than cure!”
The 2014 theme for today’s World AIDS Day is Focus, Partner, Achieve: An AIDS-free Generation.
