Though social media is good for interaction, it is emerging to be one of the channels that unscrupulous people use to cause damage to vulnerable hopefuls. Lately organisations, top athletes and stars have been disguised on social media and unsuspecting individuals have been duped sums of monies by people masquerading as scouts and player agents.

Kaizer Chiefs would like to alert and warn the public to be weary of these unfortunate acts. We urge the society to be vigilant and careful when they elect to engage on social media platforms. Furthermore, Kaizer Chiefs doesn’t scout for players via media let alone social media.

Not so long ago it came to the attention of the Club that the football players including Chiefs players have been imitated on Social Media. It is advisable to engage with the Club to verify player profiles and information.
