Kaizer Chiefs and their main sponsor, Vodacom continued to reach out to their supporters and the public at large. This time around Kaizer Chiefs entered Megacity in Mahikeng much to the delight of the public and Amakhosi faithful.
The Roadshows give Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom a chance to bring their services to the public. The Roadshow offers a buffet and variety of activities and offerings, from the sale of Kaizer Chiefs authentic merchandise, Supporters Club membership and Kaizer Chiefs Insurance Products, Vodacom products and services. The public gets a chance to interact with the Club officials.
The entertainment is always part of the deal, from DJ and MC conducting the dance floor, with the public winning prizes and others engaging in fun and games including competing on Play Station, Table Soccer and Goalpost games.
Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung remarked; “Mahikeng has always been Kaizer Chiefs’ stronghold. We have been looking forward to this trip and we are glad that the supporters came in their numbers to interact with their beloved Club. We love our supporters and we do all what is possible to reach out and bring the office within reach.”
The fans got an opportunity to meet Kaizer Chiefs officials and Club Corporate Communications Manager commented.
“What a pleasant feeling to see Mahikeng painted Black and Gold. We met supporters and also we were amazed at a number of supporters that informed us they will be joining Chiefs Supporters Club for the first time. Everybody here is looking forward to the encounter between Platinum Stars and Kaizer Chiefs”
Speaking to kaizerchiefs.com, Tebogo Mabote from Mafikeng Branch; “We have been waiting patiently for Kaizer Chiefs to visit Mahikeng. We are happy that our patience paid off at last Chiefs is here and this is going to lift the support for the Club big time. We are very happy and we trust that this is the start of the bigger things to come.”
Speaking to Mafikeng FM, Morgan Gould was thankful to the supporters: “It has been hurtful to get injured but I will be returning to action very soon.
I want to contribute to Amakhosi’s success. Lots of people called on Chiefs Management to bring me on board and I am grateful to be part of the family, this is the Club that I have supported since I was a small boy and I want to be part of their success. I am happy to see my teammates doing well in the league and I can’t wait to return to action.”
Platinum Stars and Kaizer Chiefs game will be played at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday, 24 November; kick-off is at 15:30.
Vodacom and Kaizer Chiefs will continue with their Roadshow in Phokeng at Karabo’s Shisanyama on Saturday, 24 November from 10:00 to 14:00.
