The day’s activities will commence with a curtain raiser between the Kaizer Chiefs Male Celebrity Team vs. a Media Select Team which is set to kick-off at 17:30. The Kaizer Chiefs Celebrity Team includes popular musicians, actors and DJ’s who will represent the Kaizer Chiefs brand on the field of play. Players like Andile Ncube, Bozza (Skwatta Camp), KB a.k.a. Krazy Boy (Channel O, 5FM and Big Brother Africa), Khan (the Parolotones), Mandla (Gang of Instrumentals), Jub Jub, Tbo-Touch (Metro fm and Live), Hawk Makepula, singing sensations Lungelo and Malik, Tebogo (Kwela Tebza) and many other popular names cannot wait to don the famous gold and black on Saturday. The team’s coach Sizwe Dhlomo of MTV Base fame will be on the side lines urging the guys on as their coach.
In keeping with the Heritage Month’s theme of dance, the field on Saturday night will be set alight with colouful dancers. The entertainment line up includes big name Maskandi artist, Ihashi Elimhlophe and blonde Sotho native DJ What What.
Kaizer Chiefs hampers will also be given away as fans and supporters are urged to colour the stadium gold and black. The Amakhosi Supporters Club will be in full swing on Saturday, fans will be able to get their membership at the area opposite the tennis courts. Fans can sign up for their Gold (R500), Silver (R250), Classic (R100), Youth (R50) or Kids (R25) membership.
Kaizer Chiefs are also known for their tradition of winning and the culture of success, the MTN 8 trophy will be there for the Amakhosi Faithful to see!
