Kaizer Chiefs have set the tone for the new season and have made their intentions known as they embarked on their pre-season plans with a renewed energy.

The Club commenced with their announcements early and began with their newly appointed Senior Team coach, Mr. Stuart Baxter, who has already been hard at work with his new Team. Mr. Baxter and his Technical Team will work as a unit with a strong focus on both the Senior Team and Youth Development Structures. A formidable Technical Team comprising of Doctor Khumalo, Ace Khuse, Arthur Zwane and Rainer Dinkelacker will support Baxter.

“The appointment of Stuart Baxter is a statement of intent from the Club ahead of the new season. I would like on behalf of our Executive Chairman, Kaizer Motaung, the Board of Directors and the Club in its entirety, to welcome the Coach and wish him all the best during his time at Naturena,” said Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung.

“Last season we identified areas that needed strengthening and we are pleased to have acquired the services of Siboniso Gaxa, Morgan Gould, Sakhile Hlongwa, Brilliant Khuzwayo, Siyabonga Nkosi, Kgotso Moleko. We are in current discussions with regards to one more Player and will make further announcements once all the paperwork is finalized.

We need their reinforced energy as we embark on a new season; their constant presence is a vital part of our success.
