After taking in the morning training session Tumelo Rampagla and Thapelo Motlhabi spent time socializing with various players and the youngsters had a special request that they would particularly like to meet Rowen Fernandez and Emile Baron.
After the picture taking formalities the kids joined the team for lunch and both boys expressed their pleasure at being able to meet and sit down for a meal with the team.
Thapelo described his meeting with team as follows. "I can now go back to the home in Pretoria and brag to all the other kids that I came to the Chiefs Village and met the Kaizer Chiefs team ". Tumelo wanted to see his hero Bevan Fransman, but Bevan is at home recuperating after his operation. Kaizer Chiefs phoned Bevan at home and Tumelo spoke to him for a few minutes. Dara, the brand manager promised the kids Bevan would visit them at their school soon.
The pair will lead the team out on to the FNB Stadium pitch on Saturday evening when Amakhosi take on Bloemfontein Celtic in a PSL game in Johannesburg.
Kaizer Chiefs has been supporting Reach for a Dream Foundation for many years. This has been the second time in three months that Chiefs has teamed up with Reach for a Dream Foundation, a well-known organisation that makes children dreams come true.
On the previous occasion, with the assistance of Orlando Pirates in December, two more kids were afforded the opportunity to lead Chiefs out onto the field as they escorted Chiefs to victory in the Soweto derby.
