Kaizer Chiefs brand manager Dara Carroll while speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Thursday afternoon, confirmed that the club's 082 170 hotline had been temporarily stopped.
Fans who often call the number to find out about the latest squad news, fixtures and other information need not worry as the hotline will be up and running before the start of the 2007 – 2008 season.
Carroll explains further “together with our partners on the hotline Vodacom and Marketel and in keeping with technological changes in the market place we are in the process of upgrading our hotline."
"Before the start of the new season we hope to be up and running with a more exciting and informative hotline, which we hope will be just user friendly as the hotline has been in the past.”
