The successful trip is beginning to bear fruit considering the renewed zeal to register new members and interested parties that want to start new supporters branches. Our offices have been inundated with requests for applications forms and information on how new branches operate. To date we have registered more Classique, Silver and gold members in a short space of time since the launch in December of the previous year.
Whilst the team descends onto the Charles Mopeli Stadium to face Free State Stars on Sunday 09th March 08, our Supporters Relations Crew would be hosting supporters at the Amakhosi Supporters Centre in Dlamini, SOWETO for a session of interaction and deliberation on pertinent matters. Proceedings start at 09:30 and would end when all matters are exhausted.
I must say we have been excited by prospects of registering young children and toddlers since their new Kiddies and Youth membership cards have been launched. Clearly, this indicates the length we have taken to establish a family-infused approach to supporting Kaizer Chiefs so that our grandstands reflect a varied demography of our family.
I am sure you realize that we have turned the entire environment around managing our supporters and our first pot of call is to ensure that they register as bona-fide members of this great family. We have been adventurous in our approach to even use a live match stadium environment to recruit our supporters.
This trend is most likely to persist throughout the season as more real Amakhosi family members take their stance in our branches. Sunday promises to a fun filled meeting environment and one amongst the many that are lined for the season.
See you in Dlamini, SOWETO!
