The final plans of the Amakhosi Stadium are in place and our development team has been actively working in procuring the necessary legal and regulatory approvals. This has been a long and complicated process but we are pleased to inform our fans that it is nearing completion.
On the financial front, the cost of building the Amakhosi Stadium has escalated significantly due to inflationary pressures and the capacity constraints caused by the stadia under construction for the 2010 World Cup. Our advisors are working with Government and the investment community to complete the funding process.
Kaizer Chiefs remains committed to building a home stadium which lives up to the Club's promise and meets the expectations of our fans and every effort is being made to make this happen as soon as possible.
