Four Kaizer Chiefs players were on the starting line-up in the Bafana Bafana squad that beat Trinidad and Tobago 2-1 in a 2010 World Cup exhibition match in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
However, goalkeeper Brian Baloyi made way for new Santos goal-minder Andre Arendse in the second half and this raised questions on whether Baloyi would be given a start in the crucial African Nations Cup qualifier against Ivory Coast on Sunday in Polokwane.
New Chiefs midfielder Jabulani Mendu was also replaced in the second half after picking up an injury earlier in the first half. The other two who were in the starting team were midfielder Stanton Fredericks and striker David Radebe.
