The winners of the semi finals will in turn play each other in the final which will take place later on the same day, Chiefs will return home the next day. Thereafter Amakhosi will travel to their base outside of Cape Town where they will prepare for the eagerly awaited clash against English Premier League Team Manchester United.
With Chiefs travelling twice in a season to the Limpopo Province but playing away from Polokwane, this tournament which was launched on Tuesday evening at the Meropa Casino on the outskirts of the City affords Chiefs many fans in the region the chance to see Chiefs in pre season action as well as The Amakhosi parading for the first time their new signings.
Amakhosi team manager Bobby Motaung was in the Limpopo Province on Tuesday evening for the draw and said “it is nice for us to start our pre season campaign early as it will assist our preparations. In this tournament we are in good company as we need to play some tough opposition ahead of the start of the new season”.
Tickets for the event will be available at Computicket and Checkers Shoprite Outlets throughout the Limpopo Province at a cost of R 20 for Adults and R 10 for Juveniles.
The first game is due to kick off at 10h00 on SATURDAY 8th July. The full fixture list and Kick Off times will be made available as soon as they have been confirmed and agreed upon by the participating teams.
