Amakhosi managing director Kaizer Motaung says it’s premature to speculate about what could be the real reason behind Pule's disappearance.
"We haven’t heard from Pule for a while and we are very concerned hence we sent out an investigation team to look for him," says Motaung. “Once we find him we will take it from there."
"It's a cause for concern as this behaviour does not only affect his career at Chiefs but also at national team level. We do not want to jump into any conclusions until we hear his side of the story.
"At the moment there’s a lot of speculation and it is really unwise to make conclusions about what could be the real problem. For all we know it could be a recurring problem from last season.”
Pule missed the plain to Ivory Coast for the Nations Cup qualifier last week and was subsequently left out of the Cosafa Cup final squad to play Malawi next week. He also missed the opening league match against SuperSport United on Wednesday.
Pule is not at home on Benoni and his mobile phone is off.
