In a draw conducted at the SABC television studio, Kaizer Chiefs were pitted against the winner of the Santos/Ajax Cape Town clash in the semifinal of the lucrative Coca-Cola Cup.
This is the situation Chiefs will be hoping to take full advantage of, especially considering the fact that they have note fared well in the Cape Town recently particularly against Ajax.
The draw comes just a day after Santos beat Lamontville Golden Arrows 2-0 to proceed to the quarterfinals of the competition, and therefore set up what promises to be an exciting Cape derby.
In the other semifinal, Jomo Cosmos, who secured their place in the last four by demolished SuperSport United 5-1, will have the home advantage against Sundowns.
