Skipper, Jimmy Tau had a surprise visit on Tuesday after morning session from his biggest fan, Mama Susan Nimrod from Reiger Park Branch in Boksburg.

Chairperson of Reiger Branch, Maki Shale, who made her wish accompanied the frail looking Susan (72) who made his wish to meet Jimmy Tau to the branch two weeks ago.

“I am not well and it was my wish before anything happens that I meet Jimmy Tau,” she told kaizerchiefs.com with tears in her eyes.

Mama Susan is suffering from Cancer and due to her condition she has stopped attending games.

“I used to travel all over the country to watch my favourite team but now I can only sit in front of my television at home to watch games.

I love the team but my favourite player is Jimmy Tau,” she said while holding hands with Tau who was as emotional.

“I am speechless,” reacted Jimmy.

“I really do not know what to say right now because this moment brings a lot of emotions. I am always touched to see that there are people out there who appreciate your work.

I am grateful to God for giving me the talent and also making it possible for me to meet her.

To be told that the doctors said she should have died two weeks ago is even more difficult. I wish her all the strength and that God gives her more years,” added Tau.

The day went even busier for the player affectionately known as “Big V” as fans from UK asked him to sign autographs and all sorts of goodies from Amakhosi shop at the Village.
