The three players all played a part as Bafana Bafana beat Egypt by 1-0 at Ellis Park Stadium on Saturday night. The win has boosted Bafana Bafana chances of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations to be hosted jointly by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
The trio was joined at training at the Village by Mandla “Bullet” Masango who inspired South African U23 team to an inspiring 4-2 drubbing on Libya at Sinaba Stadium on Saturday.
There was however no sign of Zimbabwean internationals, Tinashe Nengomasha, Thomas Sweswe and Burundian Valery Nahayo who also represented their countries over the weekend. Zimbabwe lost 1-0 away to Mali while Burundi surprisingly came second best losing by 3-1 away in Rwanda.
Tinashe “The General” Nengomasha and his compatriot Thomas “Rambo” Sweswe are stuck in Kenya with the rest of the Zimbabwean national team.
