“It’s a draw and there’s no good or bad about it,” comments Tsepo Masilela after Baroka FC was drawn as Kaizer Chiefs’ opponent in the Nedbank Cup quarterfinal. “Baroka are a force to be reckoned with. They are never easy customers to face.”
The Nedbank Cup quarterfinals draw took place in Cape Town on Thursday night.
“It is going to be an interesting game,” foresees Masilela, who has been out for long due to an injury but is now getting close to full fitness. “We have no other option but to win the match, because to be able to lift the cup you have to go through each and every stage of a cup competition.”
Amakhosi hold the record of having won this National Cup competition 13 times, having reached the final in 18 editions.
