Baron was joined by midfielder Thabo Mooki and striker Serge Djiehoua as club physiotherapist David Milner took them through a grueling fitness test.
Emile, who had been suffering with a foot injury, was given the all clear after making a full recovery from the injuries, which have kept him out of action since the PSL resumed almost two weeks ago.
Chiefs physiotherapist David Milner said, “Emile will be back at training Tuesday morning with the rest of the team, he looks fine and his foot is looking good Emile is good to go.”
The outlook for midfielder Thabo Mooki is less positive and, like the Johannesburg weather, the sun does not want to shine on Mooki at the moment. He will be going for further medical examinations on Tuesday which will include an ultra sound test. Mooki picked up a calf injury in mid-January, which has sidelined him since. He was hopeful of beginning training this week but will now have to wait for the outcome of the tests on Tuesday.
In the meantime striker Serge Djiehoua will be sent for Cybex test to measure the strength in his injured leg, the previous test showed that he was up to ninety percent strength in his injured leg.
“We need this test to show that he has 97% or more of the strength in his leg back, if he does than we can start finding a way of bringing him back to being fully match fit,” added Milner. The results of Serge and Thabo’s test will be known around lunchtime on Tuesday.
