Midfielder Siyabonga Nkosi has expressed anticipation for the much talked about ‘Clash of the Champions’ between the two reigning Champs in their respective countries, Kaizer Chiefs from South Africa and Mochudi Centre Chiefs of Botswana. The clash, in the Botswana Challenge, is set for Saturday, 16 November 2013, at the National Stadium in Gaborone.Kickoff for the game is at 19:00.

“Botswana is close to SA and I know most of Batswana do follow South African football. Actually, I heard Kaizer Chiefs command a lot of following in Botswana. For us, going to play there is football coupled with giving back to the people who support the team from far afield.

I am familiar with the stadium; I played there back in early 2000 when I was selected for Bafana Bafana. The match itself is part of our preparations for the TKO semis back home on the 23rd November 2013. The opponents, Mochudi Centre Chiefs, are a competitive and a good team. We have the name Chiefs to fight for apart from the football aspect of it.

For some of the players, it is about game time and after struggling with injuries at the beginning of this season, this game is important for me to catch up with the rest of the guys. We are all looking forward to it and hope that the stadium will be packed to create a good atmosphere,” said Nkosi.

The Amakhosi supporters will welcome the Kaizer Chiefs Team when they land at the Gaborone International Airport on Friday midday. The supporters will follow the Kaizer Chiefs Activations at the Airport Junction Mall on Friday, 15 November 2013 at 12:00. On Saturday the Activations will continue at the same venue from 11:00.
