Coach of the Year, Stuart Baxter paid tribute to the Club' supporters during the PSL awards ceremony on Sunday, 26 May 2013.

Baxter was facing a tough competition from both locals Cavin Johnson from Platinum Stars and Clinton Larsen from Bloemfontein Celtic.

"It is a great feeling to win this award. When you receive a call to coach Kaizer Chiefs it brings lots of pressure especially after the Club went through such a long time without winning the league.

"I thank the supporters for sticking through with the Club through thick and thin," said Baxter who has inspired the Glamour Boys to a double this season.

"This award would not have been possible without the support from the rest of the Technical Team. The players for me were also at the centre and thank you guys for all your efforts.

"Our Executive Chairman (Mr Kaizer Motaung) and the Management has been very supportive.

"There is also a group that does not get a lot of credit, the guys who cut the grass at the Village, those who clean the dressing rooms and each and everyone who plays a role to make this Club a great Club it is today.

Baxter added saying the challenge for the Club is to continue to win trophies; "It is very important that we continue with the culture of winning.

"We will meet soon and discuss areas that need strengthening in the team. We will be campaigning in Africa which means our squad will need to have more breath.

We have already identified few youngsters from the Academy and we will continue to monitor the market"; concluded the visibly happy Chiefs Mentor
