Medical Examination
Chiefs team doctor Mohammed Moosajee believes that Chiefs will have to give the player time to respond to the treatment before omitting or including him in the squad. Moosajee said to kaizerchiefs.com, “he did some good work on his own on Monday as he got rest and managed to get onto the right track. We still cannot say for sure at this stage whether he can be included, we will give him another day it which will make things clearer for us on the matter.
Bhasera Blues
The Zimbabwean international says he will be devastated if he is unable to play in the match against Ajax. Give the role he played in Chiefs Telkom Cup success when he featured in all four games, he was looking forward to doing much the same in the Nedbank Cup.
Speaking of his injury Bhasera added, “when I sit around I do not have any pain but when I run or put any strain on my legs I have an excruciating pain running through after a while. I am doing what the doctors have asked me to as I am still hoping to play in the match”.
