Leonardo Castro and Ryan Moon commanded Kaizer Chiefs’ attack against The Magic FC last week, but coach Ernst Middendorp has decided to approach this afternoon’s Absa Premiership fixture against Polokwane City differently.
Khama Billiat, who didn’t start, will lead the attack, supported by Bernard Parker (on the right), Hendrick Ekstein (at number 10) and Philani Zulu (on the left).
It means that Amakhosi will have a lot of attacking options going into the encounter.
Parker is the captain again, in the absence of Itumeleng Khune and Willard Katsande.
Back in goal is Daniel Akpeyi, who had to miss last week’s Nedbank Cup game due to being cup-tied.
Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya will play at the left-back position, replacing Happy Mashiane who is out with an injury.
Siphelele Ntshangase, meanwhile, will continue to partner George Maluleka in central midfield.
City will host Chiefs at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is at 15:30.
The referee will be Khulekani Thusi.
