Another first Monday of the month is here, and that simply means Amakhosi supporters are in for another riveting episode of the best football magazine show in South Africa, the KCTV show.

The December edition premieres this evening at 20:00 on SuperSport’s PSL Channel 202.

The team behind the show is ending the year 2021 with a bang as they’ve put together another awesome show with compelling content. Included in the show is a feature named Golden Sessions. This month’s Golden Sessions will see attacker Bernard ‘Die Hond’ Parker sit down with Club legend Ntsie ‘Teargas’ Maphike, as they reminisce and look at some of the best moments in their careers as footballers.

One of Chiefs’ highlights of the season was the outstanding performance of the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development teams who play in the Gauteng Development League that is run by SAFA. We look at the journey that our under-13, under-15, under-17 and under-19 teams have travelled this year and saw them perform admirably in this year’s GDL competition. The segment known as Cream of the Crop will take a look the journey that saw the team reach the semi-finals, finals and one team bringing some silverware to Naturena. Chiefs were also crowned overall winners, given how the four teams finished the season.

We also shine the spotlight on the recent Soweto Derby that saw Chiefs beat arch-rivals Orlando Pirates 2-1 at FNB Stadium. Even though there were no supporters at the stadium, Kaizer Chiefs worked with partners LSJ Clothing to promote Kaizer Chiefs’ Urban Edition clothing range by hosting a viewing session at one of Jozi’s top hangout spots, Konka in Pimvile, Soweto. Celebrations followed as Chiefs won this important encounter.

Another former defender in the form of Dr. Howard ‘The Rock’ Freese makes an appearance on the show after generously deciding to hand over a treasure trove of his playing uniforms to the Club. The former Captain handed over the merchandise to the Executive Chairman, Kaizer ‘Chincha Guluva’ Motaung for display in our museum. In a surprising move, the Chairman in recognition decided to retire the famous #20 jersey that Freese wore during his time with Amakhosi as a player and skipper.

Like many other episodes, this will be informative, entertaining, educational and will bring back many memories. Make sure to catch South Africa’s leading sport & lifestyle show on the PSL Channel on SuperSport 2, DStv channel 202 this evening at 20:00.

Our social media platforms will share details of the reruns of the show during the course of the month of December.
