Amakhosi are ‘wounded’ following a disappointing loss against Orlando Pirates last week while BidVest are currently lying second on the log following a one all draw against current PSL championships, Supersport United.
“We lost against Orlando Pirates last weekend, that is history, our focus is Bidvest Wits,” said the Kaizer Chiefs’ current top goal scorer with five goals in all competitions.
“We had a meeting this week and we told ourselves that we definitely have to bounce back starting this weekend against Bidvest Wits. We also have a very important game on Wednesday against Golden Arrows.
Bidvest Wits have been collecting points but we are focused on our preparations. It would be nice to get on the score sheet against my former team, but the most important thing is the three points,” he said.
The Glamour Boys are going to Saturday’s game without the services of Onismor Bhasera and Jonathan Quartey who are both suspended. Defender, Mokete Tsotetsi is also struggling with an injury and is a doubtful starter tomorrow.
“It would have been nice to have everyone available for the game, but we have enough quality in the team to face Bidvest tomorrow. We will be ready,” he added.
